God gave rock n roll to you

I've been immersing myself in KISS, in preparation for our show at Joe's Pub on the 21st; my memories of KISS are from my brother's 70s-era albums and posters in the basement, both scary and cool to a little kid. Needless to say that's what pretty much anybody pictures when they think of KISS, such as pretty much the greatest album cover of all time, see above. And that's clearly the reference point for our show! But it's easy to forget that between their famous unmasking on MTV in the early 80s and their nostalgic return to makeup, costumes and pyro in the 90s, they were a successful 80s hair metal band! This is also KISS, a classic early 90s hair metal power ballad with an awesome early 90s video, bet you remember this song, but I bet you didn't remember it was KISS.

Anyway, long story short, the show is going to be amazing.
