The real thing.

Here I am in the middle of the whole crew at the end of an exhausting, triumphant night last night: the Starshine Burlesque Exotic World Benefit show! Complete success, made tons of money, amazing show. Just an entire night of love for the history of this thing that brings us all together. Which makes this story in the Observer even more depressing; a long time coming, and it's finally here. We're all going to have to work even harder to preserve the real thing in NYC.
